Yoga Nidra with Maryline
Sunday 4th of December 2016 – 5.30 to 6.30 pm £10 – payable by cash or bank transfer.
Pure Yoga Cheshire looks forward to helping you relax at the start of a potentially very busy December month. Join us for a delightful one-hour guided Yoga Nidra relaxation class with guest teacher Maryline Higham.
The perfect end to your weekend, in readiness for a busy weekly schedule!
Yoga Nidra is a proven resource for healing, insight, and empowerment. It helps us to re-encounter the essential truth of who we really are and provides us with the opportunity to experience deep freedom.
Yoga Nidra is practiced whilst the body is resting in a supported lying down position (or seated), allowing the subconscious mind to be highly receptive to cues of letting go and achieving peace.
This class is designed to help you to relax, settle your thinking patterns and give your body and mind a full recharge.
In this special 1-hour session, Maryline will guide you through not one, but two Nidra practices. The relaxations will be combined with mindful awakening exercises, reflection and meditation time.
Suitable for every body and level, with or without previous Yoga experience.
Book early to secure your place. Cost: £10. Please wear comfortable clothes, long sleeves tops, socks and long pants / bottoms. Mats, blankets and props will be provided and already set out for you; bring your own cosy blanket if you wish.

Maryline is a qualified Hatha Yoga teacher with 10 years teaching experience in the Manchester and Cheshire areas. Specialising in Restorative and other forms of Yoga, she enjoys balancing the physical challenge of postures with the calming journey towards inner peace.

Maryline teaches in a caring and relaxing way. Her approachable nature comes across in class to leave students feel strong and nourished.
Maryline has always had a deep interest in Yoga Nidra since the beginning of her practice and teaching career. She first experienced the method in Sivananda classes in 2001 and has since used it for her students’ and her own relaxation.
Her studies with the UK’s leading relaxation expert Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, have inspired her to offer Yoga Nidra relaxation classes weekly in Manchester city centre and in Hale. Maryline wants to encourage people to take relaxation breaks as part of their daily life. She believes this promotes peace of mind – especially to folks with fast-paced lifestyles.
