Writing is good for you!Writing for Wellbeing uses guided writing activities as a gentle approach to personal growth. A developing body of research shows that expressive writing helps calm the mind and emotions, and increases feelings of happiness and wellbeing. People who have done Writing for Wellbeing say it sparks their imagination and helps them release both personal and creative limitations. As well, they find it focusing and meditative, and say it helps them be kinder to themselves.

In this workshop, Laura Napran will guide you through specific activities designed to help release the words within you in a positive and creative way. Our focus will be on change and growth. These enjoyable activities will help you find clarity in approaching fresh challenges and ideas for new paths to growth. Writing for Wellbeing increases self-awareness, fosters clarity and insight, and lifts your mood. All writing levels welcome, and no previous writing experience is needed. Anyone can do it. You never have to read aloud anything you have written. Whatever you write is the right thing for you.We all have a wellspring of creativity in us, and sometimes all we need is a little guidance to help us use that creativity to open up our potential.
