Iyengar Yoga builds strength, stamina and flexibility and places particular focus on detail, precision and alignment, drawing the senses inward and promoting calm in the body and mind.
Indra is qualified as an Introductory Level 2 Iyengar yoga teacher and has been practising for over 10 years, training under the tutelage of a number of senior teachers. She was initially drawn to the physical aspects of the practice that keep the body healthy and the feeling of wellbeing that remains well after classes have finished. She regularly attends classes with her teacher and workshops when possible, to further her own practice. She gets satisfaction from sharing with students her knowledge of Iyengar yoga and the benefits it can bring.
Indra offers a class suitable for all (particularly beginners) on Tuesday from 7.30 to 8.45 pm. Drop in £9, class passes also available, more information on prices on our prices page.
