SUMMARY:Late Summer Tuscany Yoga Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our fourth retreat in beautiful Tuscany\, this year extended to 9 days by popular demand.  \nGo deeper into your practice\, rejuvenate\, relax and connect with nature… \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSurrounded by a Mediterranean forest\, Casale Pundarika is the special location for our late summer retreat. A typical Tuscan country house ideally set in a magical place 2km from the village of Riparbella on the Maritime Hills a few km from the Tyrrhenian coast. A mixed landscape of woods\, olive groves\, vineyards and a skilfully-worked countryside reflect the agricultural origins of the town. \n\n\n\nThe house offers comfortable shared accommodation\, ample practice rooms and the possibility to practice yoga outside on the gorgeous terrace\, from which the rising sun can be contemplated during our morning practices. \n\n\n\nDuring this retreat we will be practicing mostly outside on the newly built decking which is ideally located under a canopy of native trees\, a beautiful setting for this magical time of the year. Last year some people choose to spend the night on the decking as part of their practice – feeling at one with Nature and contemplating the beauty of the magical land (this is optional). \n\n\n\nAs part of the retreat process we ask to respect each other’s space and sanctity by limiting the use of electronic devices\, and honoring the daily periods of silence. Mornings will be silent until 12 o’clock\, and there will be one full day of silence where we will ask you to switch off your mobile phone. We understand this might be a unique occurrence in this day and age\, but there will be a 24 hour contactable phone number for the retreat centre in case of emergency. \n\n\n\nThe programme offers: \n\n\n\n\nMeditation and Pranayama early morning (one hour approx)\nYoga asana (postures) mid-morning (one and half hour)\nAfternoon practice – Question and Answers followed by Yoga postures and Pranayama (one and half hour)\nLate evening gatherings on some days.\n\n\n\n\nThere will be time for quietly enjoying contemplation and personal time. We will observe silence each morning until lunch time\, as well as a full day of silence as part of our practice. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMore details on cost and accommodation: \n\n\n\nAccommodation: €540 for apartment sharing\, €675 for double/twin sharing\, € 1080 for single use occupancy (figures are in € currency). Please note this has to be paid to Casale Pundarika directly – bank details available. This includes accommodation\, all delicious and locally sourced vegetarian meals (breakfast\, lunch and supper) and the use of the heated outdoor bath tub. \n\n\n\nYoga tutoring: £ 425 for the 9 days – 3 to 5 yoga sessions per day with one afternoon free. Deposit required to secure your spot – £150 non returnable. \n\n\n\nThe nearer airport is Pisa – flights from Manchester and other major UK airport are excellent and can be booked well in advance.  Transport from and to the airport can be arranged. \n\n\n\nNumbers are strictly limited\, so bookings are confirmed with a (non returnable) deposit of £150 with the balance to be paid by 1 st of September 2020.
