I discovered Mindfulness when I was looking for a way to deal with long-term stress. Juggling work and a family, I was suddenly faced with my sister’s terminal illness – over a period of four years. Mindfulness, for me, was a life-line.
Slowly, it became an enjoyable way for me to replenish my emotional fuel tanks so that I didn’t become exhausted and burnt out. Over time, Mindfulness has helped me nurture a better relationship with myself and with my life, including the pleasures and pain of being human.
