I have been practising yoga since I was 18.
It wasn’t until my late twenties that yoga went from a weekly class focusing on the physical benefits to a daily escape from everyday stress. Over the past 5 years’ yoga has become a sanctuary, offering me a place to become more in touch with my body, mind and spirit.
I decided to take it to the next level by joining a BWY foundation course. I was hooked and in 2015 started my teacher training. I couldn’t wait to start sharing all the benefits of yoga with everyone.
I love that yoga can be practised by anyone, any where. I don’t believe in perfection just simply doing yoga your way. There are so many facets to the yoga I practise now; breathing, meditation, asana and mindfulness. They all make me a better person and make life that little bit more wonderful.
I love teaching but still find time to go to classes and workshops as much as I can, I also love going on retreats – just really get away from it all.
